COVID-19 Interim Policy regarding postponement of scheduled RTAC audits in International Units

The following update has been provided by Dr Chris Copeland PhD, Chair RTAC.“The current COVID-19 pandemic is unprecedented in recent times.  Already some units have requested the postponement of upcoming audits as they enact COVID-19 containment policies.  The following policy has been developed by RTAC in consultation with two certifying bodies DNVGL and Global Mark and takes effect from Monday 16th March 2020. This policy covers all clinics who are seeking re-accreditation within the next 6 months.

Due to travel restrictions now implemented by most countries in the world including Australia all licences will be extened for a period of 6 months.  This applies to all units who have a current RTAC licence against the International Code of Practice (version 2018).

This policy will be reviewed on an ongoing basis and will be updated as the COVID-19 pandemic plays out its course. ”

We would like to thank you for your patience whilst we work through this unusual environment together. As always Global-Mark will provide you with our highest level of services, and keep you informed with the most  up-to-date information on certification.
