We are pleased to advise everyone that Global-Mark has now been formally accredited by JAS-ANZ for ISO 55001 – Asset Management.

Whilst we had been working on the program for some time, formalising our accreditation was an important step and gives confidence in our competence and process. “It took some time to decide to proceed with accreditation, but as a number of our existing clients are now considering the addition of ISO 55001 certification, we have invested the time and resources internally to ensure that we can continue to support them” comments Kelly Gillen, Global-Mark’s CEO.  “This is a very specialised program, where management systems, engineering and financial expertise come together; getting the right pool of Auditors is important”.

Global-Mark’s first Client is CBC Facilities Maintenance, a Wollongong based company specialising in commercial and industrial asset management services.  Nicole McGregor the company Compliance Manager commented that “CBC already has a number of management systems and certifications in place. Working with Global-Mark on this new program allowed us to leverage from all our current policies, procedures, systems and tools. This was a great support, but ISO 55001 also bring in additional requirements in dealing with assets, which in our case is mostly about our Client’s assets.  We can now show that we have sound systems in place to care for our Client’s assets”.
