Huhtamaki TP has 5 sales, warehousing and logistics facilities and 140 employees nationally with offices in major capital cities: Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

3. Why did you go through certification?

Chain of custody certification allows our organization to proudly display the globally recognized FSC label on our finished products, and to incorporate FSC trademarks into our promotional materials. The FSC logo sends a powerful message to the marketplace, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to protecting the health and resilience of forests worldwide.

4. How did you find the process with Global-Mark?

The process of certification via Global-Mark has been a breeze from the start of the certification process through to ongoing surveillance and re-certification audits.

5. What is your outcome e.g. are you happy with the outcome?

The relationship between Huhtamaki TP and Global-Mark has been very pleasant and we are extremely satisfied with our certification results.

6. Are there any other business benefits you experienced as a result of becoming certified?

Market and industry trends clearly indicate a robust preference for FSC-certified products, largely driven by consumer demand in the retail sector. As a result, major companies are adopting policies that prioritize FSC-certified products to meet the increasing demands of retail consumers.

Governments are also incorporating the use of FSC-certified products into their green public procurement policies. Numerous countries and regions, including Australia, have enacted laws that prohibit the trade and use of illegally harvested timber and its by-products. As an FSC-certified product supplier, HTP has gained entry into these markets and many others.
