COVID-19 has certainly resulted in a number of challenges for our health facilities in so many ways.

Just to confirm that with the exception for mandatory reassessments, final assessments offsite and interim accreditation, all other assessments for NSQHSS have been put on hold until further notice from the Commission. We have commenced discussions with the Commission about when and how they will resume and once we have been advised, we will be in contact with all of our clients. We will also let you know what will happen with your certificates once we have been advised.

The Commission has also been releasing a number of documents in response to COVID-19 and it is important that you keep up to date with them. An advisory will also be released any day now which will provide you with information about what our team will be reviewing at you next assessment to ensure that you have been complying with their fact sheets and advisories. Further information is accessible via this link https://www.safetyandquality.gov.au/standards/nsqhs-standards

Meanwhile, ISO 9001 audits can continue remotely and we encourage you to do so as this is an opportunity to touch base and ensure that your quality management system is still on track which will assist with ongoing compliance with the NSQHSS. Don’t hesitate to contact me or your Client Manager if you want to discuss this further.

Meanwhile, I hope you and your loved ones as well as your staff are well and safe during this unprecedented times.

For further information please contact our office or your Global-Mark Client Manager.
