Short Notice Assessments
The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care have advised that Short Notice Assessments will replace announced assessments from July 2023. This applies to all health service organisations where licencing requires accreditation to the NSQHS Standards. A fact sheet is available on the Commission’s website: Fact sheet 17: Short notice accreditation assessment

What this will mean for facilities, is that for assessments booked to occur after the 1st of July 2023, we will not be confirming assessment dates with facilities until 24hours (one full business day) prior to the assessment in accordance with the Fact Sheet.

Global-Mark are working on updating out Program Information, including any changes to the assessment process and will be providing a Health Bulletin by Friday 17th February.

Clinical Trial Governance Framework

For the first cycle (3 years) this will be assessed using a maturity scale. More information on the Clinical Trials Framework can be found on the Commission’s website: National Clinical Trials Governance Framework
