3. Why did you go through certification?

Our Director Nick Argyropoulos has established a business culture where we consistently improve the business. Nick has always emphasised the importance of continuous development of innovation, worker safety, and high-quality service. Continually improving, moving forward, and ensuring the most productive methods are used for the highest project quality delivery. As a business, we strive to continuously innovate throughout our technology, processes, products, services, and our team. This business culture striving for constant improvement saw a natural progression to seek our certification.

Our environmental sustainability is very important to our business, and we have ensured we have maintained our AS/NZS ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems certification since 2012. This ensures that as a business ensures we minimise our carbon footprint by continuously reviewing and monitoring our work policies and procedures to perform using the most environmentally conscious methods available.

NA Group has transition from AS/NZS 4801 Safety management systems certification to a heightened AS/NZS ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems certification. This certification demonstrates our commitment to provide a safe and healthy workplace by preventing work-related injury and ill health, as well as by proactively improving our OH&S performance and communicate workplace safety policies and objectives. This ensures that we demonstrate leadership by taking accountability for the performance of OH&S and assisting all levels of management in the business towards integrated OH&S goals.

By transitioning to ISO 45001:2018 and ensuring we maintain our existing certifications, we take accountability as a business to deliver one of our core values which is consistent improvement, allowing us to use the most current procedures to achieve high quality services with safety and efficiency.

4. How did you find the process with Global-Mark?

The process of being certified through Global-Mark was straight forward and the two auditors that assisted us through the process were excellent in ensuring we understood the process clearly. Their support through each step of the process made it easy to follow and allowed us to provide the information that was required to achieve our certifications successfully.

5. What is your outcome e.g. are you happy with the outcome?

We are very happy with the outcome of achieving our certifications as it has proven that the strategies we put towards our business safety, quality levels and environmental sustainability procedures are successful. Our certifications also ensure we consistently work towards productivity enhancements so that our business performance continually improves.

6. Are there any other business benefits you experienced as a result of becoming certified?

Apart from ensuring that our business is performing to high quality standards in a safe and environmentally sustainable way, there are also other benefits that we experience as a result of becoming certified.

We can proudly display our certifications on our tender submissions and business portfolio to show that we have been authenticated by Global-Mark in achieving these standards. This gives our business recognition as a consistent, quality-driven, and reliable company that excels within our industry.
