1. Tell me about your company – what industry you are in and what does your business do?

Our business has been in operation for over twenty years.  Originally a demolition company, we have expanded our range of services to include Floor preparation, rubbish removal and labour hire, as well as maintaining our core demolition business. We are a proud 100% indigenous owned and operated company, and an accredited member of Supply Nation.

2. Can you please provide some top level information about your organisation, such as size, number of staff, office locations or similar?

We are a small business with a permanent staff complement of 5 people, and casual staff of 10. Our head office is in Homebush West, and our storage yard is in the adjoining suburb of Lidcombe, both in Sydney’s inner west area. Apart from Sydney metro, we also service all regional areas of New South Wales and ACT.

3. Why did you go through certification?

A critical part of our expansion plan is to make inroads into the large corporate and government market. For us to achieve this, ISO accreditation is a pre-requisite. In June 2023, with the assistance of A & H consultants and Global-Mark we obtained our ISO certification 9001 Quality Management, 14001
Environmental Management, and 45001 Occupational Health and Safety.

4. How did you find the process with Global-Mark?

The process with Global-Mark was seamless and professional.

5. Are you happy with the outcome?

We are delighted with the outcome of our certification on several levels.

  • It has instilled a very disciplined corporate culture.
  • Significantly improved the communication and interaction between management and staff.
  • A competitive advantage and credibility in the marketplace withinternationally recognised credentials.
